plotting scripts

The following scripts are provided as part of the plotting package:

plot_beamformer_benchmarks.py

Plot beamformer benchmarks

usage: plot_beamformer_benchmarks.py [-h]
                                     [--max_pointing_num MAX_POINTING_NUM]

optional arguments:
-h, --help show this help message and exit
  --max_pointing_num MAX_POINTING_NUM
Max number of pointings for multipixel beamformer

plot_obs_pulsar.py

A ploting script tha can be used to plot MWA tile beams, pulsars and used to work out the SMART observations to best cover the southern sky. # SMART survey update example plot_obs_pulsar.py –smart –contour –fwhm –shade 1221832280 –pulsar J2241-5236 # All pulsars detected update plot_obs_pulsar.py –lines –pulsar_detected –pulsar_all

usage: plot_obs_pulsar.py [-h] [--obsid_list [OBSID_LIST [OBSID_LIST ...]]]
                          [--all_obsids] [--incoh] [--smart] [-s] [-o] [-c]
                          [-l] [--pulsar PULSAR [PULSAR ...]]
                          [--pulsar_detected] [--pulsar_all]
                          [--pulsar_discovered] [--fill]
                          [--shade SHADE [SHADE ...]]
                          [--shade_dark SHADE_DARK [SHADE_DARK ...]] [-f]
                          [--all_contours] [-r RESOLUTION] [--square]
                          [-p PLOT_TYPE] [--ra_offset]

optional arguments:
-h, --help show this help message and exit

position_sn_heatmap_fwhm.py

For a cross pattern of pointings (probably done by grid.py -m cross) that have been prepfolded, uses their signal to noise to work out the fwhm.

usage: position_sn_heatmap_fwhm.py [-h] [-o OBSID] [-p POINTING]

optional arguments:
-h, --help show this help message and exit
  -o OBSID, --obsid OBSID
The observation ID to be searched
  -p POINTING, --pointing POINTING
                        The centre pointing. eg 21:45:50.46_-07:50:18.48.
